Your VGI - Transport Association of the Region Ingolstadt
Founded on September 1st, 2018 by the three counties Eichstätt, Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Pfaffenhofen and the city of Ingolstadt. The VGI is a municipal administration union to serve the citizens.
9-Euro-Ticket
The federal government of Germany has passed a financial discharge package for all citizens. It includes nationwide, heavily discounted monthly tickets for the price of 9 euros per month, which are offered within a promotional period of three months.
It is important to us that all VGI passengers - especially our regular customers - benefit from the advantages of the 9-Euro-Ticket.

With the VGI-Tariff through the entire Region!
The merging of the three counties Eichstätt, Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Pfaffenhofen and the city of Ingolstadt to the VGI was the cornerstone to implement a uniform tariff for all means of public transport in our region. The flawless cooperation with the involved transport companies and the political support was the requirement that you only need one ticket for local buses of several bus companies and local trains of the three railway companies: agilis, Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) and DB Regio.
